Kid Safe Mini Games

Here's a collection of small nonviolent games for young children. These are downloadable files and must be loaded onto your computer. Most of the games were made to be very small. A lot of the games were made by the requests of other children.

Kids should always get parent's permission before downloading anything from the internet.

Cleft the Clown Spelling Game - Can be found on the Tools for Teachers Page
A hangman type game that pops balloon instead of hanging people. Allows users to enter up to 10 different word lists.

Animal Games -
These little games were made in a few days from the request and help from my students at The New Testament Christian School. Visit the animal themes pages for online animal games.

The Hungry Panda - We made this game after learning about China. The instructions were written by two second grade students. The same students applied logical reasoning skills and made their suggestions on how the game should work. Feed the panda by shooting the bamboo as he goes across the play area. (2.59 MB hungry.exe)

Catching Butterflies - I made this game at the request of one of the 1st graders. We enjoyed our Spring Science lessons by observing the life cycle of the butterfly. We started with caterpillars and watched them as they made their cocoons. We really got excited when we saw those butterflies emerge! Bible Games - Lots of little games featuring Bible verse themes. These games were originally made as a tool to assist Bible memorization.

Holiday and Seasonal Games -

Games for the Holidays - I started making most of these little games as electronic cards for my granddaughter. Remember the days, although very short lived, when it was safe to send attachments? Alas, those days are gone. I did, however, spend a good deal of time ensuring that I had games small enough to send, so they're small enough to download and share with a friend.
