Report Page - Clown fish Also called the anemone fish, the Clown fish has a special relation with these flower-like animals. The tentacles of the anemone contains a cell which paralyzes small fish. The anemone then uses the tentacles to push the prey into its mouth. However, the Clown fish lives in the middle of the anemone, immune to its sting. The Clown fish is protected by a special mucus. Both the anemone and the Clown fish benefit from this arrangement. The Clown fish is protected among the tentacles, while the anemone feeds on the food scraps left by the Clown fish Print the worksheet
